Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections is dedicated to providing meaningful experiences and fostering connections among seniors in our community. Join us and be part of a vibrant and supportive group where friendships flourish and new adventures await!

About Us: At Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections, we understand the importance of fostering social connections and providing a supportive environment for seniors in our community. Our seniors' groups offer a range of activities and outings aimed at reducing social isolation and promoting well-being among older adults.

Moorebank Active Seniors Group:

  • Meeting Day: Fridays

  • Highlights: This active group engages in entertaining outings, such as a lunch and show at Liverpool Catholic Club, a barbecue lunch at a local park, and a Chinese lunch at a restaurant in Moorebank. They recently learned to play Uno, adding a new favorite pastime to their activities. With the acquisition of a bus driver and a bus from Benchmark, they are excited to resume their monthly bus trips soon.

Moorebank Happy Seniors Group:

  • Meeting Day: Thursdays

  • Highlights: This group enjoys outings to the movies and delightful lunches, including a Christmas in July celebration at Camden Valley Inn. They also indulge in various games at the centre and recently had a barbecue lunch at Como Reserve Park in Sutherland Shire. With a newly appointed bus driver, they eagerly anticipate the return of their bus trips.

Heckenberg Seniors Group:

  • Meeting Day: Fridays

  • Location: Frank Oliveri Centre, Heckenberg

  • Highlights: This group offers seniors in Heckenberg a welcoming space to connect and enjoy regular meetings, monthly outings, and assorted activities. With a focus on reducing social isolation, members have the opportunity to socialize with peers in a safe and supportive environment. From informative guest speakers to enjoyable outings, the Heckenberg Seniors Group provides opportunities for engagement and enjoyment.
