Building a kinder, stronger community

We all deserve to flourish and be proud of our achievements.

Liverpool Neighbourhood Connections is a grassroots organisation which provides both direct relief from poverty and the tools to create bright futures.

An Inclusive, Safe Space

Our centres are a place for our diverse community to gather, forge new connections and engage in a diverse mix of programs.

Our executive staff operate from Warwick Farm Community Hub but we also have staff outreach to Moorebank, Heckenberg, Cecil Hills, Lurnea and Casula.

The Tale of the Starfish

A young girl was walking along a beach where thousands of starfish had been washed ashore after a fierce storm.
One by one, she bent down, picked them up, and gently tossed them back into the ocean.

People watched her with quiet amusement.

After some time, a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach — it’s endless.
You can’t possibly save all these starfish. You can’t make a difference.”

The girl paused. For a moment, she seemed disheartened. But then she bent down again,
picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the sea.

She turned to the man and said,
“I made a difference to that one.”

The man stood quietly, reflecting on her words. Something shifted within him. Inspired,
he bent down, picked up a starfish, and threw it back into the ocean.

Soon, others began to join them. And together, they made a difference – one starfish at a time.
